Chapter 7
Finding Strength 💪✨
Today was all about facing fears and discovering the strength to push through them. Yesterday left me feeling shaken, full of self-doubt, and a little overwhelmed. But today... today was different. My son reminded me that we can do hard things, and together, we faced our fears and found our courage. 🌊❤️
The morning started with quiet reflection, a reminder that even on the toughest days, there’s light and love waiting for us. We decided to return to the pool—where it all started. I was hesitant, but his excitement was contagious. Seeing the joy on his face, I knew I had to push past my fear, not just for me, but for him. And so we did it, hand in hand, step by step.
This sketch captures a moment that I will hold onto forever—a symbol of resilience and the bond we share. It’s a reminder that even when life feels overwhelming, there’s always a way to find the strength within ourselves. 🖋️✨
After our time in the pool, we walked around the pond, enjoying the peace and the warmth of the sun. It felt like a fresh start, a chance to breathe and appreciate the simple joys of being together.
Later, I had a heartwarming visit from a dear friend, Kari, who came by to see our new place. We shared stories, offered each other support, and reminded ourselves of how vital it is to lean on friends during tough times. It’s moments like these that make me so grateful for the meaningful connections in my life. 🌿
I’m so grateful for these precious moments with my little one and for the support of friends who understand the ups and downs of this journey. Motherhood isn’t always easy, and there are days when the challenges feel too big to handle. But today, I was reminded that it’s okay to struggle as long as we keep moving forward. It’s okay to be scared, as long as we don’t let that fear control us. And it’s okay to lean on those we love because together, we are stronger. And most importantly, I may not be perfect, but I love my son perfectly, and that makes me more qualified than anyone else in the world to be his mom. ❤️
